BEST TIPS FOR KIDS

There's a junior ranger program at this park like the others. To get to the park, visitors take a ferry. What's not to love about a boat ride to a fort?

At the end of the day, stay for the flag ceremony. The ranger talk and ceremony are fascinating and a great way to appreciate the history and significance of the fort.
